This Vegas Strip beauty allows the player to double their bet every time they see their cards. Be careful with the game though as a double means that you will automatically dealt another card. Your only other option is to stand if you have a hand close to 21 and you don’t want to risk losing your cash.

How to Play Ruby Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold

Choose from one of the chip denominations the left of the table and then press the ‘Click here to place bet’. Once the bet is down, the cards are dealt.

You have the option to double, hit or stand. If you hit, you are not willing to put any more cash on the table. However, if you choose to double, then an amount equal to your original bet is placed on top of that bet.

If you win, whether you choose to stand, hit or double, your bet will be doubled.

Blackjack Rules

Blackjack rules are relatively simple. All you need to do is get a hand closer to 21 than the dealer and you win evens on your bet. If you get Blackjack, which is 2 cards totalling 21 straight from the first time you were dealt your cards, then you are paid back instantly at 3/2.

Try to bear in mind that before you choose the ‘hit’ button that if you go over 21 you will bust. The same rule applies to the dealer.

One rule the dealer must abide by, is that as soon as the dealer reaches a total of 17 or above, the dealer must automatically stand. Anything below 17 the dealer must hit.

Insurance

When you see the dealer’s first card is an Ace, you can take insurance against the dealer hitting Blackjack. Your ‘Insurance Bet’ is half your wager placed before the cards aredealt. If the dealer has Blackjack, you win back even odds on your half bet thus covering your original bet, hence this is called ‘Insurance’.

A Tip for the Double Option

If you like to double, then only double when you have hands lower than 12 is the best advice. This way only a picture card can destroy your hand. To be even safer then you can choose to double on any hands 11 or lower as a rule of thumb
